About

The Garden Faire is being organized through the California Native Garden Foundation (CNGF), founded in 2004, recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation. The CNGF's mission is to demonstrate the beauty, garden-worthiness and ecological appropriateness of California native gardens, advance knowledge of native plants and increase their availability. Its vision is to become a statewide source for learning about, experiencing, and promoting California native gardening and bringing new California native plants to the garden.

The CNGF conducts educational projects based on sound gardening practices and research by university researchers, and assists schools in the design and development of native gardens by offering school garden grants. Information on the CNGF's educational projects is available on its website, www.cngf.org.
